During the month of May we will be offering past issues of quilting magazines for $.50 each to go towards the Second Helpings project here in Manchester. Second Helpings is a free meal cooked and served every Monday night by area church members and community volunteers. This special program provides a hot, nutritious meal that is entirely free to those who might otherwise go hungry. All food and supplies are made possible through donations of food product or monetary means. Monetary donations pay for items to complete a meal, when there is not enough in donations to feed such a large group.This program serves anyone in the community who comes to the dinner. This mission currently feeds between 150-170 people every Monday night. We will gladly accept donations to the project as well.
